Baseball at Seibu Dome 1 - Stadium shot | 2004100301.jpg
On Sunday,
Soichiro and I went to see the Lions vs. Fighters game at the Seibu
Dome baseball stadium. It was so sudden that I didn't bring my camera,
so I just had to use my cell phone camera and then e-mail the pictures
to myself. *laughs* This shot was taken from our seats; pretty good seats, eh? Japanese baseball games are nuts; read my journal entry from October 3rd for more info on them. |

Baseball at Seibu Dome 2 - Lots of balloons | 2004100302.jpg
One of the
things that happened at the game (I wonder if it happens every game?)
was, instead of the "Seventh Inning Stretch," a release of hundreds of
these long balloons that hissed and screeched when you let go of them.
Vendors went around selling the things, and at once everyone let them
go. It was quite excellent. The Lions' (go Lions!) colors are blue and white... if you couldn't tell. |

Baseball at Seibu Dome 1 - Field shot | 2004100303.jpg
Soichiro and
I had to leave before the game was over so we could catch our train
back home, but I managed to get one more picture of the stadium. Pretty
cool stuff. Oh, and the Lions won, by the way... witnessed a grand slam that put them on top in the third inning or so, and they never looked back from there. That game was a very important one, too... the last in some playoffs. Sweet action! Go Lions! Their mascot is awesome, too. |

What happened to Bugles | 2004100401.jpg
Ever wonder what happened to Bugles, those awesome corn snacks? They found their way overseas! *laughs*

Outside my balcony 1 - Town shot | 2004100601.jpg
Since it was such a wonderful day, I thought I'd take a few random pictures of Higashimurayama as seen from my room's balcony. This is a nice shot of the town and the railroad that runs quite near the house. One of these days I'll have to snag a picture of a train going by... I love seeing and hearing those things roar across the tracks!!

Outside my balcony 2 - Neighbors' house | 2004100602.jpg
The Yoshitaka's neighbors are also the granparents of the family. Awesome. Dig the sweet stained glass window up there. At night when it's illuminated from the inside it looks fantastic. |

This shot is slightly off to the right of the first one. Here you can see a little bridge. Ooooh, bridge.

Outside my balcony 4 - Saki-chan runs | 2004100604.jpg
Run, Saki-chan, run! Into the neighbor's house... which just happens to be the granparents' house! *laughs* She's a riot.
